Holiday Arts Club & Creative Space

Hands-on creative adventures — drama, dance, puppetry, film, photography, music, storytelling, craft and painting.

Our Holiday Arts Club brings children together for hands-on creative adventures every school holiday! Young people explore a vibrant mix of arts activities — from drama, dance, puppetry, film and photography to music, storytelling, craft and painting. Visiting artists lead workshops that spark imagination and confidence, while our blend of traditional and digital arts helps each child record and share their creative journey through digital portfolios.

Every holiday ends with a joyful celebration of creativity, and many participants showcase their work in our public exhibitions. Children make friends easily, try new things and develop new skills in a supportive, fun environment.

Membership

Annual membership is £15 per child, giving families access to all our arts programmes and events. Weekly planners showing daily workshops are shared three weeks in advance on our social media and by direct email to families.

Funded & supported places

We’re committed to making creativity accessible to everyone. A number of funded and supported places are offered each day, which include a nutritious meal and full access to all workshops — supported through the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme and local partnerships.

Free School Meals? Apply for a free HAF place

TEXT your child’s full name, date of birth and postcode with the heading “HAF Apply” to 07932 772 905. Once we’ve confirmed eligibility we’ll invite you to complete registration online — funded places include full membership at no cost to families, plus breakfast and a healthy hot lunch.

Childcare vouchers & tax credits

We are listed on the Voluntary Ofsted Register EY496668 — parents using Working Tax Credits or Universal Credit can usually claim up to 75% of childcare costs via HMRC.

If you wish to pay using childcare vouchers, please apply at least two weeks before the start of Holiday Club so we can process your details. Simply email us the name of your voucher scheme, your child’s name, and the dates you wish to book. We currently accept: Government Childcare Choices, Computershare, Edenred, Kiddivouchers, Sodexo/Pluxee and Care 4.

Accessibility & support

We celebrate diversity and inclusion and want every child to feel they belong. Our setting is suitable for children with mild to moderate additional needs who can enjoy activities with appropriate supervision. SEN needs can be discussed and supported by arrangement — if your child has any SEMH, SEND or additional needs, please give us a call so we can chat about how best to support them.

Booking & availability

Places are limited and fill up quickly — especially funded spaces! Please check availability before booking by calling, emailing or texting our team. Membership fees are non-refundable, but we’ll always do our best to help you find the right sessions for your child. Further information can be found in our Policies and Procedures.

The Studios & Kids’ Cinema

Our versatile 1,350 sq ft art space hosts digital arts, drama and dance — including a Kids’ Cinema and exhibition space with a huge 4 × 3.5 metre screen, laser projector in full HD, a hair-raising soundbar and uber-comfortable beanbag chairs.

We host cinema parties for children aged 6–15 (you don’t need to be a member). The birthday girl or boy picks the film, every guest gets a party bag — drink, popcorn, sweets, notepad, stickers and crayons — and parents get some well-earned time off while we supervise. Up to 30 kids per party, all for £250. Ask us about add-ons!

“My daughter had a cinema party today. She loved it! A hassle-free party — you can leave them to look after the kids and go for a coffee. All the kids had a great time, I would recommend it.”
