Privacy Policy
Honeycombe Arts Hub (Registered Charity No. 1127371) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Membership & bookings — parent/carer and child names, contact details, dates of birth, medical and SEND information needed to keep children safe, and booking/payment history. This is held securely in our booking system.
- Contact form & newsletter — your name, email address, phone number and message when you contact us or sign up to our mailing list.
- Funded places (HAF) — eligibility information such as Free School Meals status, shared with BCP Council only as required to administer the scheme.
- Photography & portfolios — photos and artwork are only published with consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How we use it
- To run safe, well-organised activities and meet our legal safeguarding duties.
- To contact you about bookings, planners and events you've asked to hear about.
- To report anonymised statistics to funders — never information that identifies your family.
What we don’t do
We never sell your data. We don’t share it with third parties except those who help us run our services (such as our booking provider and BCP Council for HAF funding), and only ever to the minimum extent needed.
Keeping it safe & your rights
Data is stored securely with access limited to staff who need it. We keep records only as long as necessary, or as required by law and safeguarding guidance. You have the right to access, correct or ask us to delete your personal information, and to unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@honeycombeartshub.org.uk or write to us at the Hub. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
